Creditors Financial Group : They Harass For Money, Even When It’s Not Your Debt

Filed under: Just Isn't Right — Alan Cook @ 1:31 am

I got a phone call on 2/19/2010, “on Behalf of Chase Bank”. A credit card from a former acquaintance has about a $6,600 bill that way is past due. K, why are they calling me? I was an “authorized user” of the account, had a card, and paid a LOT of money on the balance including everything I put on it. But, it’s not my account. Last I saw what the balance was, it was WAY, WAY less.

Well, it seems sob stories mean other people should pay your bills. I was told by the schmuck who called me, was very condescending, told me I should “do what’s right”, and continually insulted me, that the account holder J**** S***** said ‘I used the card, so I should pay for half of the bill’. She also made several slanderous statements against me. I know she did, because the [expletive] who called me referenced these in the phone call. Way to insult me by repeating hearsay, a** hole.

Thanks to caller ID I know the number, which was 877-298-2251, apparently belongs to “Creditors Financial Group”.

So, Creditors Financial Group now calls whoever their past due account holders say should pay their bill for them?
The dude got extremely rude on the phone, dredge up bad memories, and repeated slanderous statements, all to someone who they legally should not be calling? Awesome!

Great. Well, a big hardy **** you to them. Those of you who know me, know who had the nerve to give them my number in the first place. Everyone else, I’m sorry, I’m a bigger person and more of an adult than they are – so, you won’t know who it is.

To the person that gave out my name and phone number – big mistake. If this type of behavior continues, the credit card companies will not be the only people who have you in court. Grow up, deal with your own mess, and leave me alone.

To Creditors Financial Group – I love SEO and I love internet marketing. I didn’t catch the name of the a-hole that called me, but I’m sure you have logs. You need to fire him. Let me know you did, show me the proof, and I’ll leave you alone.

Now, I must give props to Chase before ending this. They acknowledged I have no accountability on the account, have submitted to my credit reports “just in case” that I am not responsible, and are sending me a letter to state the same.

So, J**** S***** and Creditors Financial Group. If I hear anything further, it’s harassment.
